I often walk home from work, and when I do, I walk through this really great neighborhood.  It's an older area of Seattle, and it has lots of great architecture, brick, old dark, leafy trees, beautiful flowers, quaint little shops.  It smells of green woods, and international cuisine. The trees seem to block out the city noise, so it's quiet.  But, I inevitably pass through this enchanting neighborhood, and to the giant freeway overpass, that I have to cross to get back to my side of the I-5.  Whizzing cars, engine breaks, horns.  Loud, drunk men.  My side has lots of cement, no trees, and the distinct smell of urine.  So, everytime I walk home from work, I get a bit melancholy and wonder, why can't I live there instead of here?
